Gothic Ankh

So, this is an.. little abstract.. ankh, from the egyptic culture, its my entree for a contest which has gothic / emo as theme,

The old Egyptians used ankhs because they believed it woul help them achieve old age.. though since they didn't really got that old i'm a bit sceptic about it but oh well

thanks to the ankh, which is supposed to have magical properties at controlling your life

oh, for you guys who think this sucks because the steriotype emo / goth is supose to be shortening their lives.. breaking your ankh is suposed to have that effect so there! and besides, if it does have the ability to change your life-length... why couldn't it be to shorten it?

of course, the true gothic people out there know better, and even though i haven't met much emo's before, i think they know better too so its not much differents,

also, the christian cross is said to have its origins with the ankh so it also fits there...
